The CAT 2: The Sequel Part 1 (AKA Xander takes over Yarmouth, Nova Scotia)

Hey CYY Freaks! I’m just getting back from my crazy, awesome CAT Trip to Nova Scotia over the weekend! I did enough cool stuff to last me a week of posting, so I’ll start off with the CAT itself!

This is my second time on the ship; my fellow DJs and I did this trip last year. This thing is pretty darn luxurious, featuring a full bar, a kitchen to prepare you some great food (of which I enjoyed QUITE a lot), as well as a gift shop to grab a keepsake. There’s even live music on the boat – Celtic Rant serenaded us with some good old-fashioned sea shanties. I’d have sung along louder, but I think my enthusiasm was starting to bother the people next to me…

My fellow DJs and I were treated to some the snacks available on the CAT – my personal favorite was the Tiki Shrimp, which has just a little bit of maple kick. We also got our hands on some Lemon Drops from the Forchu Lounge, which were delicious! After filling up, I even found a long, unoccupied lounge seat to curl up in to take a nap.

I’ll pick up the story from here tomorrow afternoon, where I’ll hit the ground running to see all the cool stuff Yarmouth has to offer!
