The Highroller Lobster Company In Portland’s Old Port Set To Expand
There's plenty of stories about businesses opening and closing throughout Portland on a weekly basis but rarely do you get stories about businesses doing so well in the Old Port, they're expanding. But that is the case with the Highroller Lobster Co., who is ready to expand their popular brick-and-mortar restaurant at 104 Exchange Street to include some exciting new things.
According to Portland Food Map, Highroller Lobster Co. will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Lucky Tattoo Company. The new additional space will allow Highroller to create a new back bar, add more seating and bathrooms, and be able to section of the restaurant for special events if need be. Highroller is also planning to build out some patio space behind their restaurant, because who doesn't want to eat and drink outside during the warmer months in Maine?
Highroller Lobster Co. has a pretty amazing story. They started as a food cart back in 2015 and quickly gathered a following. They decided to open a restaurant in Portland and since then have received rave reviews as having one of the most delicious lobster rolls in all of Maine.
There's no firm timetable when the expansion will be completed at Highroller Lobster Co. as of this writing.
