There’s A Haunted Estate In Maine That You Can Explore For Free
As Halloween approaches, so will the search for fun and exciting things to do. One of those things, likely unbeknownst to even the most hardcore of halloweeners in Maine, is the Junkins Haunted Estate. The Estate will be celebrating its 30th anniversary of decorations of haunts, and welcome anyone and everyone to explore the property for free.
According to Maine Haunted Houses, you can choose to explore the Junkins Estate by car or by foot. They promise though that if you never leave your automobile, you'll never get the candy. The Estate suggests that only persons ages 10 and above visit the free attraction, as some of the hauntings can be a little intense.
This yeah, the Junkins Estate is open for exploration for only 6 days in October. Sunday the 22nd through Tuesday the 24th, and Sunday the 29th through Halloween night. The open hours are 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the nights listed above.
You'll find the Estate in Kittery, on 87 Wilson Road. They also have a Facebook page that consistently update. In case you want to know what you're in store for, here's an old promo video from the Estate.
