Tool's set at Aftershock festival this past weekend was their first live performance since the release of their latest album Fear Inoculum, and their fans were in for a treat — the band played "Pneuma" and the title track live for the first time.

Prior to the official announcement of Fear Inoculum, fans were skeptical whether it was actually even real. In May, the band debuted two new songs — "Descending" and "Invincible" — live at Welcome to Rockville festival, and that sealed the deal.

Tool's fifth album arrived at the end of the summer on Aug. 30, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. According to discussion on several fan message boards, "Pneuma" is definitely a favorite amongst their fanbase, and with Tool's 2019 tour kicking off this week, they'll be happy to see the track added to the setlist. The title track was the first song to be released from the new album, and that was received in a generally positive matter by their devotees as well.
