Watch Eddie Vedder Join Bruce Springsteen Onstage in Seattle to Perform ‘Bobby Jean’
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are on the road in celebration of the 35th anniversary of The River and last night (March 24) in Seattle, the Boss brought out one of the locals to help.
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder joined Springsteen onstage for a performance of the Born in the USA classic "Bobby Jean." Vedder is jubilant throughout and seems to revel in sharing the stage with the E Street Band as the surprised crowd takes in the added star power. Check out fan-recorded footage above.
It wasn't the first surprise on Springsteen's current tour. He covered the Eagles' "Take It Easy" in honor of the late Glenn Frey and "Rebel Rebel" in tribute to David Bowie, and he also prompted an onstage dance party with a 91-year-old grandmother. Springsteen’s River tour resumes on Monday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Meanwhile, Pearl Jam are set to embark on their own North American tour next month. Check out those dates here.
