Watch Water Dance on a Pier at High Tide in Portland During the Nor’easter
Captain Gene Willard of Portland Water Taxi captured this amazing footage of water rushing up through the deck of a pier on the Portland waterfront that looks like dancing fountains.
At high tide during Thursday's Nor'easter, the waves crashed underneath the pier, sending water gushing up through the boards. Watch at the 1:14 mark, just after a break in the waves, as water comes down the left side and turns in front of the camera and crashes.
It's not the Fountains of Bellagio in Vegas, but still very impressive to come from a storm right here in Maine.
