WCYY Presents Pierce the Veil + The Used in Portland, Maine, This June

One of the most popular festivals in the country last year was the 'When We Were Young' festival that featured a who's who of emo-era bands playing in Las Vegas. If you didn't get a chance to make to that festival in 2022 and might not get there in 2023, a small taste of chaos is coming to Portland, Maine, on one weekend in June.

WCYY proudly presents Pierce the Veil and the Used live at the Cross Insurance Arena on Saturday, June 10. The two bands plan to embark on a nationwide tour from coast to coast while alternating headlining sets. For the Portland show, Pierce the Veil will close the night out.

Pierce the Veil was formed in the mid-2000s after another known band, Before Today, broke up. Pierce the Veil has attained a wild amount of success in the last 15 years, building an underground fanbase that is rabid and excitable. Their live shows are always unforgettable.

The Used have had multiple chart-topping hits over the years. Frontman Bert McCracken continues to deliver his signature performances during every show, and despite many bands from their era having disappeared from the scene, the Used continue to pack shows and put on memorable performances.

Tickets officially go on sale Friday, March 10, at 10am. This is an all-ages show.
