Two of the most popular reality shows on television are The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. If you've been hiding from the concept of the show, it's rather simple. A group of single men or single women vie for the attention of one particular individual, and eventually, a love connection is made.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, single people often wonder, "What about me?". When is their Bachelor or Bachelorette moment going to happen? One popular restaurant in Westbrook, Maine, is trying to help, but there's a problem. They can't seem to find any single guys to join the party.

Shared on Facebook by The Frog and Turtle, they've organized a singles event for Valentine's Day at their gastro pub. More than 30 single women have bought tickets for the event. Unless something changes, the ratios will be way off, because only a handful of single men have also purchased tickets.

The Frog and Turtle isn't trying to discourage more women from buying tickets and joining the party. They're just hopeful that some additional men will join the fray as well.

The event promises a night of great music, delicious food, and the potential for chance encounters. And for those a little on the shy side, there will be an array of 'ice breaker' games to allow for easy conversation.

There will also be speciality cocktails and a bunch of craft beer on tap for those that need some liquid courage to go along with ice breaker games and tasty bites of food. The only two requirements from The Frog and Turtle Gastro Pub is that you buy a ticket ahead of time and dress nice for the event.

First impressions are everything.
