Windham’s Top 5 Restaurants (According to Yelpers)

Having lived in Maine my whole life and as a fan of the city of Portland, I'm well aware that it's a food mecca. But as a newbie to Southern Maine, I'm pretty ignorant to the good eats surrounding the city.

So, I'm on a mission to find the best of the best, at least, according to Yelpers.

Today, my sights are set on Windham.

5. Bingas Windham-106 Main St

Easing into the list with a place I'm already familiar with having been to the Portland location. Full disclosure I went there for a bite during a bar crawl and I'm not entirely sure what I had, but I know I was happy!

4. Fortune Cookie-749 Rt 302

If you want to be a food hub, you have to have some good Chinese take-out.

3. Hana Asian Cuisine-795 Roosevelt Trail

Offering sushi and hibachi it looks like Hana hits all the Asian cuisine high points, perfect for a date night out.

2. Rose's Old World Restaurant & Pizzeria-690 Roosevelt Trail

Upon moving to Southern Maine, Rose's was one of the first places recommended to me. Specifically, the lasagna is apparently to die for and will feed you for a few meals.

1. Chute's Family Restaurant-686 Roosevelt Trail

I can see why this is at the top of the Yelp list. First, the specialize in the greatest meal of the day; breakfast. They offer baked goods, giant pancakes, omelets and more!
