For WWE fans in Maine, it's been a long wait to see their favorite wrestlers in action in our state. The last time the WWE put on a house show here in Maine was in October of 2018.

The show featured Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeating Elias and Drew McIntyre. I was there and it was a blast to see.

Now, the WWE is returning to the Cross Insurance Arena for their Holiday Tour Supershow on Sunday, November 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale on September 23 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Remember though, this is Ticketmaster which doesn't have the best reputation right now with concert and event fans. It's not as simple as just going to their site and buying tickets, because they're on sale now for those that have special access to the presale and want to pay more money. How many will be left when they go on sale to the general public is anyone's guess.

Also, no lineup of WWE superstars has been announced yet, so we don't know who you might see. I can tell you from experience though, that you do get at least one of the top-tier wrestlers. Even back in 1989, the legendary Hulk Hogan went up against the Big Boss Man at the Cumberland County Civic Center, the former name of the Cross Insurance Arena. Hogan was the winner by a count out.

So make sure you set a reminder on your phone to get your tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 23.
