You May Be New England’s Newest Adult Film Star by Owning a Tesla

There's no denying Teslas have been picking up in popularity over the last few years.

In fact, as each day passes, it almost seems like there are more and more Teslas seen on the roads of Northern New England. In fact, drive any stretch of 95 and the Maine Turnpike between Maine and New Hampshire and you're guaranteed to see at least a handful.

Add to the fact that they save on gas and in essence save you money, and where is bad?

Adult film sites, that's where.

Tesla Video Scandal

A super uncomfortable and violating story dropped over the last 24 hours, as Reuters is reporting that past and present Tesla employees have been sharing videos of customers.

And not videos of test drives or videos of customers signing paperwork while buying their new Teslas -- employees are sharing videos that customers don't even realize are being taken or saved.

And a good chunk of them are X-rated.

Tesla Built-In Cameras

According to Reuters, Teslas come with cameras actually built into their vehicles "designed from the ground up to protect your privacy" and assist with driving.

But nowhere in the fine print does it say anything about those cameras providing videos and images that will be captured and shared amongst Tesla employees through their internal messaging system, as reported by Reuters.

Along with customers either engaging in "private moments" in their Teslas or, as Reuters specifically noted, "a man approaching a vehicle completely naked" (which leads to so many questions that we probably don't actually need the answers to), employees also shared images and videos of road rage incidents and crashes, including video of a Tesla customer hitting a child on a bike while driving at a high rate of speed.

Needless to say, the next time you enter your Tesla either to drive or to engage in "extracurricular activities," beware that someone could be watching and sharing in the future.

So, maybe at least wave "hello" first. And then search "Tesla videos" on all the adult sites and make sure they shared your good side.
