Bananas Bonkers Video of 4 Playful Humpback Whales Within Touching Distance of Massachusetts Boaters
Honestly, this latest video is so bananas bonkers cool. A group of people boating off the coast of Massachusetts had an extremely close encounter with at least four whales.
Is it okay to say that New England, most prominently Cape Cod, is the whale and shark capital of the world right now? Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, as we don't hear or read about every sighting in other parts of the world. But seriously, whale and shark sightings have been a pretty consistent occurrence lately.
According to WCVB Boston, boaters off the coast of Provincetown at the very tip of Cape Cod were enjoying a splendid summer day on the water when all of a sudden, darkness within the water ensued, as at least four humpback whales were approaching their boat. The whales, according to WCVB, were super playful, almost like they were swimming up to say hi and show off a bit. In the distance, you can see at least three other boats enjoying the show.
The video is stunning, and so much fun. These gentle giants left the group of private boaters absolutely amazed in their grandeur. In the video, you can hear the awe as the boaters let the boat float aimlessly while enjoying the playful show.
If you recall, it was just a couple of weeks or so prior that a family fishing off the coast of Cape Cod saw the rare and spectacular sight of three whales jumping out of the water, according to WCVB Boston.
