Chick-Fil-A Location Coming to Biddeford, Maine
When one restaurant closes, people expect another one to open. Especially when it comes to chain restaurants.
People in Biddeford have been waiting a long time for something to replace the old Olive Garden location as part of the Biddeford Crossing development.
There have been rumors for nearly a year that Chick-fil-A would be the restaurant filling that void.
But after Chick-fil-A announced an Auburn, Maine, location and not Biddeford, many residents thought it was simply a pipe dream. Perhaps, it's not.
Biddeford Crossing Unveils Site Map Featuring a Chick-fil-A Restaurant
After months of back and forth on Facebook between community residents on whether or not the Chick-fil-A rumors were true, the site map for Biddeford Crossing has officially let the cat out of the bag.
On an updated site map released just days ago, Chick-fil-A is listed as an official tenant of Biddeford Crossing. Their location will be across from Michael's and adjacent to Saco and Biddeford Savings Bank.
There is No Timeline For When Chick-fil-A Will Open in Biddeford, Maine
Naturally, the first question everyone will ask is, "when is Chick-fil-A going to open"? Without an official announcement, there's no timeline in place. Yet.
The Chick-fil-A location in Biddeford is likely to follow a timeline similar to the new location in Auburn in terms of approvals, construction as well as hiring and training staff to operate the location.
Chick-fil-A will join L.L. Bean as the second major tenant to join Biddeford Crossing within the last year. L.L. Bean opened an outlet store next to Market Basket in May.
