When one restaurant closes, people expect another one to open. Especially when it comes to chain restaurants here in Maine.

People in Biddeford have been waiting a long time for something to replace the old Olive Garden location as part of the Biddeford Crossing development.

There have been rumors for over that Chick-fil-A would be the restaurant filling that void.

But after Chick-fil-A announced an Auburn, Maine, location and not Biddeford, many residents thought it was simply a pipe dream.

In fact, Chick-fil-A refused to confirm a Biddeford, Maine, location was in the pipeline back in September.
