Don't make the mistake that I did over the weekend.

Being new to Maine, I wanted to explore and try out some brunch places. Well, there was one thing that I was not aware of.

If you are thinking about going to The Sinful Kitchen in Portland, Maine, you may want to make a reservation first (or at least do some research before going).

I saw what seemed like an amazing brunch spot and was ready for one of their Belgian waffles. Well, things did not go as planned once I arrived.

I did not expect this brunch spot to be in a house!

I think that it is pretty cool that they chose to have a restaurant in a house, however, it makes it so that there is not much room for seating. Or at least a lot of people really want to go!

It gets so crowded that there was actually a sign on the door saying "please send one person in to see hostess".

Well, it did not work out well for me. They were booked for the rest of the day. So popular!

It seems like making a reservation is the best and possibly the only way to eat there.

Not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to eat what I had been craving since I looked at their menu that morning, but I will hopefully be able to make a reservation in the future to go.

There may be some good news though!

The Sinful Kitchen is currently located at 906 Brighton Ave, and after almost 7 years will be moving to a new location.

They will not be moving far, as it seems that they will be going to 952 Brighton Ave (where the old Subway was).

Hopefully, with this new location, there will be more seating available and I can sit down to enjoy a delicious meal.

But just remember, if you want to experience the original location before it moves, you may want to make a reservation to secure your spot. It's definitely a spot brunch fans will want to put on their list.
