There are several theories as to where 4:20 and smoking weed became a thing. The most popular seems to date back to the early 70s when a group of friends in San Rafael, California would meet at 4:20 p.m. after school and smoke weed and it caught on from there. Well it's since gone beyond that, there's now a day where pot smokers around the world celebrate. On the 20th of April, there are celebrations, concerts and rallies...just to name a few.
