If you're willing to take a road tripthrough some winding roads to a small, remote town in Maine, there's a pretty fantastic haunted house waiting for you. For several years now, the Kenduskeag Haunted House has been one of the best kept (and scariest) secrets in Maine.

Each September, volunteers come together to construct a new haunt to bring your nightmares to life. If you can imagine all of the most frightening horror movies coming together in one small house in the middle of the Maine woods, then this particularly attraction is for you. Each year, the volunteers come up with new ways to surprise visitors and 2019 will no exception.

It's located at the Cole Memorial Ball field at 536 Kenduskeag-Levant Road. This year, there will two nights of horror on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th from 7pm until midnight. Perhaps the best part? The admission for this event is only five bucks.

This is a rain or shine event so be prepared. Oh and one other thing...THERE IS NO ESCAPE.
