Now, the prominent shop has been sold to the family behind Well and Good Brewing in North Yarmouth. If you're in it only for the custard, have no fear. It doesn't appear any changes are on the horizon for how the custard is made or how the shop operates. However, Well and Good does plan to start selling pints of Mainely Custard at their brewery.

Mainely Custard Will Open a Sausage and Beer Garden in Freeport

According to Portland Food Map, Mainely Custard will get a slight adjustment to its outdoor space. And that adjustment is going to be a tasty addition to the menu.
