After a two year hiatus, Goose Island Brewery returns to Portland with their nationwide, week-long takeover they like to call their "migration". Here's a list of some of the events and venues they're hitting.

TUESDAY: The "migration" starts tonight at Grace Restaurant with their immersion event. It's a chance to sample some of Goose Island's more rare beers and pair them with some of the delicious food that only Grace can offer up. The event is free and begins at 6pm tonight. Check out more information here.

WEDNESDAY: Two events are happening on Wednesday, the first of which is a fundraiser for an innovative new project here in Portland called Open Bench. Your ticket to the event covers some beers, lobster rolls and high fives from new friends and also includes a chance to meet forward thinking creative minds at Portland's biggest makerspace, Open Bench located at Thompson's Point. Tickets are $15 and the event starts at 5:30pm.

Later that evening, the Goose Island team will come together at Nosh Kitchen Bar on Congress St and just celebrate beer. You'll meet new friends, hear stories about beer and get to sample some rare offerings. Starts at 9pm.

THURSDAY: Thirsty Thursday is the busiest day of the week for the "migration" with three events planned. The first takes place at Great Lost Bear at 4pm. It's a chance for beer lovers to meet the brewers who make the good stuff. They'll be taking questions and sharing stories as well as sampling some of Goose Island's less common offerings.

The next event is happening at the Bier Cellar on Forest Ave in Portland. It's a rare opportunity to taste Goose Island's popular Bourbon County Stout BEFORE it goes into the barrel. Brewer Marc Drucker will be on-site to guide you through the experience. The event starts at 5pm and is free with an RSVP. Details are right here.

The final event on Thursday is at one of Portland's newest restaurants, Scales, and is invite only. The event will be a pairing of exquisite food prepared by the chefs at Scales and some of the many beers that Goose Island produces.

FRIDAY: Friday is the finale of the "migration" and will go out with a bang...or a bowl. The event is being hailed as the "bowling battle of the Portland Breweries" and will take place at Bayside Bowl. The event starts at 6pm. There will be Goose Island beer specials throughout the night. Additional details can be found right here.
