Gorham, Maine’s Only Whiskey and Wine Bar Just Opened With Stunning Views
Station Square
Located at 7 Railroad Ave in Gorham is Station Square. Many call Station Square home with their bright and modern apartments, but also within the property is Junction Bowl. Junction Bowl is a bowling alley, arcade, and restaurant.
The owner of Junction Bowl, Ben Smith just took over another space within Station Square.
According to Mainebiz, Grand Central Wine Bar closed in July and now Smith has moved in and expanded on the wine-focused business of the past and added some whiskey.
Sidecar Wine, Whiskey & Tapas Bar
Keeping with the train (and whiskey) theme, the bar went with the name Sidecar. Sidecar recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting on the 21st and truly hit the ground running with nightly entertainment and a regularly packed house.
Sidecar has the best views in Gorham with 360 degrees of windows and an outdoor deck.
Menu
For eats, they offer the most delicious appetizers, or tapas, from a charcuterie board to shrimp cocktail, bacon-wrapped scallops, and more. They offer over a dozen wines and are always changing up their whiskey specials.
Sidecar is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 pm until 10 pm and Thursday through Saturday from 4 pm until 11 pm.
