Let us talk about charm. It’s a warming feeling visiting or touring a place that seems like it has come straight out of a Hallmark movie or Gilmore Girls episode.

A charming location makes you feel comfortable and immediately pulled into relaxation and peace.

It is not at all shocking to me that Kennebunkport, Maine has made the list of, "50 of the Most Charming Small Towns in America."

However, I can already think of several towns that could be nominated for this list as well that are a little more, "hidden."

For example, the lovely and quiet Village of Greene, Maine being one of them. There is a post office, a beautiful old church, and the most quaint little library.

According to HGTV, the award for most charming small town in Maine goes to Kennebunkport.

As the article states, their are several reasons why this beloved coastline town is considered as charming. Whether it be their beaches, shopping area, village square and overall remarkable views, Kennebunkport certainly displays charm in so many ways.

I have been to Kennebunkport and even though the very famous Bush Estate is also located there, I also feel like it’s an obvious pick, but appropriately chosen at the same time.
