If You Can’t Make It To The North Pole, Visit This House In North Waterboro Instead
It's that time of year where holiday decorations will pop up on houses in towns across the state of Maine. But there's one house in particular, at 74 Mayfair Way in North Waterboro, Maine, that goes above and beyond your normal decorations and turns their home and yard into a transplanted piece of the North Pole.
The family behind this display of holiday cheer has been doing it for years, and their motivation to keep making it happen each winter doesn't seem to be waning. This years display features more than 25,000 lights with an exceptional Christmas music selection to accompany. Beyond putting together one of Maine's best light displays, they also do an annual toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots. This years drive happens on Saturday, December 9th and will feature an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus! The best part is the toy drive is completely FREE to attend!
The light display isn't on every single night, but the family updates a Facebook page devoted to it routinely. So if you can't find the time to make the lengthy trip to the North Pole this year, there's always the North Waterboro Pole!
