Look.

We live in New England. A lot of us grew up here, so we know how it goes. This entire region -- whether you're in Massachusetts, Maine, or somewhere in between -- is made up of people that are harder than the average person.

We're more sarcastic. We talk more smack. We toss up more middle fingers. It's just the New England way of life.

But even we have a line, and most of the time, we don't cross it (most of the time, because it's impossible to overlook the fact that it occasionally happens.)

And what happened following a recent Boston Bruins loss against the Carolina Hurricanes wasn't smack talk or sarcasm, it was just straight up disgusting.

Bruins vs Hurricanes

On Wednesday night, January 24, the Boston Bruins hosted the Carolina Hurricanes at TD Garden, where they lost to the 'Canes 3-2. That's not the headline.

The headline happened after the game on X. Like the Bruins (and other New England sports teams) do after every game, win or lose, they posted a final score on their X page.

What followed was a disgusting, disrespectful, trash bag response from an X account that identifies itself as an "above average Canes enjoyer delivering the spiciest takes on X dot com." Because, according to this low-life scumbag, a "spicy take" includes responding to said Bruins tweet with an edited picture of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, wearing a Hurricanes hat and jersey.

As if that picture wasn't bottom feeder enough, whoever the absolute joke that runs that account is, decided to punctuate it by putting one, four-letter word to caption the photo.

BOOM!

To the shock of no one, it took approximately 1.2 seconds for New Englanders to point out the absolute not cool and not funny factor of that post. And, to commenters' credit, in a situation where they probably should've verbally eviscerated this absolute ruptured anal gland in human form -- they actually didn't.

And the just downright gross thing? Which actually shows how this person can't be an actual person, but rather an absolute cockroach-like blemish to humanity overall, the responses from this "parody" X account included:

Lil bro never head of a joke?

This is literally our goalie what are you talking about?

It is in fact a joke.

Learn to take a joke.

And of all the things that could be and were written in response to all that, none quite honestly speak louder than one commenter, who challenged whatever human STD that runs the "parody" account:

Say that to the family of the 8-year-old who died in the bombing. Look them in the eye and say it. Come on, big man.

As if you needed proof that whoever runs the account was clearly a project gone wrong by the universe, their lack of heart, soul, and conscience were made quite apparent when the account released "a statement on the Bruins situation" following the B's account on X blocking this walking human excrement.

Today marks a unique victory - It's a testament to my unwavering passion and perhaps my overly enthusiastic online presence. To all my fellow fans, let this be a reminder that sometimes our zeal can land us in the penalty box of social media. However, with a little perseverance, we can all succeed and move towards our goals with steadfast determination and dedication.

The pathetic part? New Englanders have probably blown away more brain matter into tissues while clearing their noses than this diseased cyst on society ever had to begin with. That said, there's really only one thing left to be said to the owner of such a "sPiCy TaKeS pArOdY aCcOuNt":
