They've been closed for a year, but they are back!

Bam Bam Bakery is a gluten-free dream come true. Even if you don't avoid gluten, you'd never know it's missing from the delicious treats they create. Owner Tina Cromwell has been on a roller coaster with Bam Bam. According to the Portland Press Herald, they started on Commercial Street in Portland in 2011. They were super popular, being a go-to for anyone craving a gluten-free treat.

But then 2020 happened, and the pandemic put the brakes on a thriving business. They had to close shop, and after a year, leased a place out on Brighton Avenue in Portland. But then closed that down in 2022. We've all been missing Tina's energy and gluten-free yummies! She told the Press Herald that the new location was perfect. And teased it on Facebook.

Welcome, Bam Bam Bakery, to Falmouth, Maine. They are moving into the former Ela Market & Grill at 125 Bucknam Road. Tina told the Press Herald,

(The former tenants) took a variety store and completely outfitted it with a hood system and a walk-in freezer and fridge, so it’s kind of dreamy for me.

She's adding some convection ovens to the kitchen and hopes to be open before Christmas, but we all know that sometimes permitting and licensing can be tricky and take longer than you ever want. You take your time, Tina, because we will all patiently wait for your cooking. She has said that all the favorites will be back, including cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, cupcakes, chicken pot pie, honey oat bread, and the gluten-free and dairy-free bagels that they claim are "stupidly delicious".

What's even more exciting about the new location is that it has parking, and the space gives Tina the opportunity to do more savory foods like breakfast, lunch, pizzas, and some grab-and-go dinners.

Now THIS is a Christmas miracle! Welcome to Falmouth, Bam Bam Bakery!
