The Most Adorable Couple in Hollis, Maine, is an Odd Match
Every once in a while, you need to see a dog and a cat as best friends.
Colleen in Hollis, Maine, is the proud mom of Boomer the dog and Max the cat. These two are inseparable and the perfect love story.
I couldn't believe what I was witnessing when I first saw this picture. Then I thought, "Ah ha! It must be photoshopped!"
Nope.
They got Boomer from a breeder. Boomer was returned because his family was moving, and in Maine you know it's all about who you know. Ao, the breeder's daughter worked with Colleen's sister, one thing led to another, and Boomer was soon adopted. Colleen says he's amazing.
They had a cat who they loved, but he passed, and Colleen's mom found a kitten in Massachusetts. So, you know when you know? They soon found themselves driving to Massachusetts in a rainstorm to get Max. At first, Boomer scared the crap out of Max, but as you can see, he got over it.
Max was just a tiny kitty, maybe a pound when he made the trip from Massachusetts to Maine. But he's slightly more than a pound now!
Max isn't just Boomer's buddy, he's also Colleen's daughter Addison's pal, too.
If you are gonna be THIS darn cute, you know a TikTok isn't far behind. I love the description that teeth and claws are never used. Boy, could some humans I know learn that lesson!

Colleen says,
Their bond is truly amazing and I feel so blessed to be their mom.
Thanks for sharing, Colleen, because Boomer and Max can make anyone's day better!
