The Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs released its complete list of 25 licensed state fairs earlier this year, and the first of those starts June 13.

The Pine Tree State has some of the best fairs around, so if you're planning on attending some with the family as we head into summer, take a look at what your options are for June and July 2024:

• June 20-23, 2024: Pittston Fair in Pittston, Maine
• June 26-29, 2024: Monmouth Fair in Monmouth, Maine
• July 7-10, 2024: Union Fair in Union, Maine
• July 11-14, 2024: Ossipee Valley Fair in South Hiram, Maine
• July 18-21, 2024: Houlton Fair in Houlton, Maine
• July 19-21, 2024: Waterford World's Fair in North Waterford, Maine
• July 25-August 3, 2024: Bangor State Fair in Bangor, Maine
• July 31-August 4, 2024: Northern Maine Fair in Presque Isle, Maine
