
This Dover, New Hampshire, Restaurant Is a Must Visit for Brunch Lovers
One of my favorite meals in life is breakfast, and one of my favorite meals to grab at a restaurant is brunch.
So it was a no-brainer for me to check out The Brunch Club in Dover, NH.
Between the name and the subtle nod to "The Breakfast Club," I had a feeling I was going to love this place.
The second you walk in, you notice how clean, bright, and sunny the space is. With wooden tables and chairs, plus bar seating that overlooks the cooks working their magic on the griddle, there’s truly a spot for everyone. The menu, though? Almost too good! It’ll make choosing just one thing feel like an impossible task.
During lunch with friends, I decided to start with an appetizer from the specials list, and not just any appetizer: deviled eggs. But not your typical deviled eggs. These were finished with a drizzle of real maple syrup, pancake crumble, and a garnish of crispy, salty bacon.
And if you’re thinking what I was thinking, “how is that going to work?” trust me. It’s everything you didn’t know you were missing!
The savory egg complements the rich maple sweetness, and your taste buds get hit with that perfect combo of pancake crumble and crispy bacon at the end. It’s wild, in the best way.
Of course, brunch isn’t brunch without a cocktail. We all ordered Bloody Marys, with my friends ordering extra spicy, and me ordering pickled (yes, they actually use pickle juice in their recipe). Easily one of the best Bloody Marys I’ve had. The mix had a bold, peppery bite with just the right amount of tang.
For my main dish, I went with their “trendy toast”: avocado on sourdough with cherry tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and a balsamic drizzle. You can add an egg for a small upcharge, which I highly recommend. It’s the perfect option if you’re looking for something on the lighter side but still packed with flavor.
