Maine State Police Issue Amber Alert for Missing Mom, 3-Year-Old
UPDATE: Angie Rodondi and Norma Rodondi Jimbikt have been found safe, according to Maine State Police said early Friday morning. No details were disclosed about where they were located.
Maine State Police issued an Amber Alert Thursday night for a mother and child abducted in Saco.
3-year-old Angie Rodondi and her mother, Norma Rodondi Jimbikt, 35, of Biddeford, were forced into a white Ford Explorer with New York license plates by a man around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The Explorer crossed into New York State at 3:40 p.m.
Police did not disclose the exact location of the abduction, where the SUV entered New York or provide a description of the suspect.
The girl is described as 2 feet 5 inches tall and 25 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink dress and brown top.
Jimbikt is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green shirt, black pants and black jacket.
Saco Police asked anyone with information about their location to call them at 207-284-4535.
