Jack White took a good long break between solo albums of new material after releasing Lazaretto in 2014, but now that he's just about ready to release his next LP, he's wasting no time letting fans hear the music.

The former White Stripes frontman has dropped "Corporation," the third pre-release track from his upcoming Boarding House Reach record and latest in a quick succession of appetizers for the album, which is due in stores March 23. Since releasing lead single "Connected by Love" a little more than two weeks ago, he's already followed it with the posting of another song, "Respect Commander," and announced a North American tour.

The flurry of activity surrounding Boarding House Reach comes after months of rumors surrounding White's next move. Last year, he revealed he'd been tracking demos (on low-priced vintage equipment, of course) in a small Nashville apartment; later in 2017 — after debuting his work on the American Epic documentary and soundtrack — he further teased the long-awaited LP, quipping that it'd make for "good gardening music."

Three cuts into the pre-release campaign for the album, White's fans would no doubt agree these songs are a fine soundtrack for gardening or pretty much anything else — but while White has taken full advantage of digital technology to bring his new music to the masses, don't expect him to embrace it quite as warmly on his tour. As previously reported, he's enforcing a cellphone ban at his upcoming dates, exhorting fans to "enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON."
