Less Than Ideal Conditions Hasn’t Stopped Night Tubing In Windham

As the end of January approaches, it's not an exaggeration to say it's shocking to not see snow on the ground in most of southern Maine. So far, the winter hasn't been very wintery, leaving winter enthusiasts questioning whether or not some of their favorite activities are even happening right now. That includes tubing, a fantastic winter activity that requires no skill, just an openness to a little thrill. And despite no real snow on the ground, Seacoast Adventure Park in Windham isn't letting that stop them.

Shared on Facebook by Seacoast Adventure, the park has been making snow to keep the tubing going strong. Tubing at Seacoast Adventure in Windham is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week with select Thursday nights as well. And speaking of night, that's where an ordinary tubing adventure really gets taken up a notch because night tubing is at another level. Colder temperatures usually mean a faster track, so hold on.

Because of the continuing pandemic restrictions, tubing at Seacoast Adventure does look a little different for this season. They're limited the number of people that can tube at once, and offering reservations in two-hour blocks on their website. There's some additional precautions that you'll need to remember if you plan on visiting.

But given that many of the mountains In Maine that typically offer snow tubing are currently closed, it may be time to make a reservation for a little fun and adventure day or night. Happy tubing.
