Maine CDC Warning For Anyone At Portland Jetport On Sunday

If you or someone you know were at the Portland Jetport on Sunday, September 18th, 2020, you may have been exposed to another person who tested positive for the coronavirus virus, according to WMTW. The news station says the unidentified person had planned to take a flight to Florida with "a close contact." The pair were reportedly in the area of gates nine and ten between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The confirmed coronavirus-infected person supposedly changed his or her mind about traveling; however, the close contact got on the plane before being removed by airport officials. It’s not clear from the report how officials at Portland Jetport found out about the two people.

For travelers who were at the Jetport, the Maine CDC says they need to "monitor themselves for symptoms and consult their health care provider."
