Maine State Police Issue Another Warning: “Stay Off The Roads”

Several accidents and cars off the road have led to Maine State Police urging citizens to stay off the roads in a new Instagram post. 

With most Maine schools and town offices closed for the day and a slew of businesses following suit, it's hard to imagine why there would be anyone out on the roads given last night and today's blizzard conditions.

As a reminder, the Maine State Police took to Instagram to remind people to just stay home and off the roads unless completely necessary.

Visibility will continue to be a concern until late this afternoon and into the evening with wind gusts and snow falling. The town of Waldoboro had to take drastic measures today because of the white out conditions.

Reports of accidents and large trucks continue to pour in as well.

When mother nature gives you a snow day, you take it. We can all pretend Tuesday is the new Monday tomorrow! Stay safe!
