No Escape; The Toasty Heat Comes Back To Maine On Monday
After several brutal days of heat that covered the entire state of Maine this past week, a weekend filled with lower temperatures in less humidity is being welcomed with open arms. Just one problem...don't get used to it.
Apparently Mother Nature hasn't toasted us to perfection quite yet, because the forecasts for this coming Monday call for a return of the heat, with temps in the 90's everywhere but the immediate coast. Yuck.
Just like this past week, there will be some towns in Maine that could eclipse 100 degrees at the height of the heat. Not that we thought anyone would have removed their air conditioners yet, but if for some reason you did, quickly place it back in your window.
The good news is that this appears to be a one to two day event. Tuesday could also be hot and a little sticky, but nothing like Monday promises to be.
