People Are Dying to Get Their Hands on a ‘Gently Used’ Casket for Sale in Maine
There are certain states in the country where people are a little more inventive in what they're willing to list 'for sale' online. They're more inventive because the audience is more willing to see the beauty in something others may consider trash. If you need concrete proof, look no further than a recent ad listed in the Maine Classifieds (Buy, Sell, Trade, Free) group on Facebook, where a "gently used" casket led to the comments section coming alive.
It's difficult to know whether the ad itself is a joke or 100% legitimate. That's the case in Maine, where wannabe undertakers would fully believe a used casket could be put up for sale. Sure, it's incredibly concerning that the ad includes the detail of a little red spot inside the casket (that will totally wash out), but when you're searching for bargains, pickers can't be choosers. Get busy living or get busy dying.
Believe it or not, the star of the show really isn't the ad itself. It's bizarre, a bit morbid, and has a stench to it that stings the nostrils. But the stars of the show were the comments inside the Facebook group. Bargain hunters and grim reapers are always on the lookout for a great deal. They're also incredibly sarcastic people that are dying to make a good quip when they're given a chance. The cemetery gates flew open on this post.
If you're interested, don't wait around. You don't want to be caught dead missing out on a deal of a lifetime.
