Which is why so many people have found themselves traveling to Birch Harbor, Maine.

The Pickled Wrinkle is located in Birch Harbor, which boasts less than 200 full-time residents year-round. It's not a far distance from Acadia National Park, which many of its first-time visitors venture from.

The restaurant has been a hit for years, offering up classic pub food with many dishes receiving a Maine twist. They also feature live music on Fridays during the height of tourism season.

Why is The Restaurant Called The Pickled Wrinkle?

Get your mind out of the gutter and instead focus on a downeast Maine seafood offering. A pickled wrinkle is a large sea snail.
