Pineland Farms Corn Maze in New Gloucester, Maine, is Now Open
Pineland Farms is a 5,000-acre working farm that welcomes visitors for many of its activities and educational programs. Its mission is to "provide a productive and educational venue that enriches the community by demonstrating responsible farming techniques, offering educational opportunities, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle through recreation."
One of their many recreational activities is a corn maze that they have opened for several years now in the fall, and this year that got an early jump on opening day. The maze is now open and ready to challenge you.
Here's a bird's eye view of this year's maze you can study before you go and try to find your way through. Or if you'd rather have the challenge, go in cold and see how you do.
If you do get lost, there are clues through the maze that you can find that will point you in the right direction. Your ticket also gives you access to a self-guided farm tour for 2 hours from your the time you select to go through the maze.
Friday was opening day for the corn maze and here's the first family to make their way through.
Pineland Farms' corn maze is open from August 19 through Halloween and tickets are just $6 per person with kids under two admitted free. Tickets are sold every half hour between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Farm closes at 4 p.m. in August and at 6 p.m. in September.
