Maine Resort Offers Daily Breakfast Buffet to General Public
Once upon a time in Maine, you wouldn't have to travel far to find yourself a quality buffet. Restaurants all across the state offered them with some restaurants making their name on the quality and consistency of their food.
These days, buffets are much more difficult to find. Eating habits of customers have changed and so have expectations when it comes to visit any restaurant, buffet or not.
But there's still a market for those that appreciate a good buffet and a chance to see their food before they devour it. If a breakfast buffet is what you're after, you'll find a good one at a resort in Poland, Maine, that is open to the public.

Shared on social media, the Poland Spring Resort announced that they have a delicious breakfast buffet from now through Labor Day that they'll be serving daily. The best part is you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy it as it's open to the general public.
The breakfast buffet gets going at 8am daily and stops serving at 930am. It's a small window but if you love breakfast buffets, you'll make it work. The price is $15. The Poland Spring Resort will have this daily breakfast buffet through Labor Day weekend.
Maine is Home to Several 'Secret' Buffets
While restaurants would love to get the word out, there are several places that offer buffets where it seems more like a secret than public knowledge.
That would include the Oceanview Dining Hall on the campus of SMCC. That buffet is open to the public and has been recognized as one of the most consistently delicious in the state.
