‘Record Store Day’ Returns This Saturday Across The State
Rejoice vinyl fans, this Saturday is all about you all across Maine. Record Store Day returns this weekend and it's the perfect day to find that hart to come by piece to add to your ever growing collection.
From Everyday Music in Farmington to every Bull Moose location in Maine and all record stores in between, Saturday is a celebration of vinyl lovers and new collectors alike.
Record Store Day was conceived 12 years ago as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica. Special vinyl and CD releases and other promotional products are made exclusively for the day, including David Bowie, Pearl Jam and Prince this year.
The 12th annual Record Store Day will take place worldwide on April 13th.
