Several More New England Concerts Announced for 2022
If you closed your eyes and just pointed to any random day on the calendar in the summer or fall of 2022, there's probably going to be a big show happening on that date in New England. 2022 is a huge year for concerts in the northeast, and even more major shows have been added in the concert lineup over the past few weeks. If you've missed any of the announcements or the details, here's a quick rundown.
Garbage - State Theatre
A powerhouse act throughout the 90's, Garbage is back with a nationwide tour in 2022 with their original lineup intact. Their tour includes one evening in Portland, Maine, at the legendary State Theatre on Thursday, July 7. This is an all ages show.
311 - State Theatre
After a rousing outdoor performance in Portland last summer, veteran alt-rockers 311 are set to return to Maine in 2022. This time, they'll say goodbye to summer and play indoors as WCYY presents 311 on Saturday, September 24 at the State Theatre.
Papa Roach/Fallling In Reverse - Maine Savings Amphitheater/Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion
One of the biggest rock tours of the summer, Rockzilla, featuring co-headlining sets from Papa Roach and Falling in Reverse as well as sets from Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves, will make two stops in New England. The tour will stop in Bangor at the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Friday, July 29. The tour will then move to the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford on Saturday, July 30.
Ghost - Cross Insurance Center
The strangely intoxicating Swedish metal band Ghost with bring their theatrics to the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Tuesday, September 13. The show will also feature a set from veteran rockers Mastodon as well.
A Day To Remember - Maine Savings Amphitheater
Known for their raucous live performances that never disappoint, A Day To Remember is bringing their Just Some Shows/Just Some More Shows tour, featuring support acts Bad Omens and Beartooth on Wednesday, August 3 at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor.
Apocalyptica - State Theatre
The entrancing live performances from Apocalyptica are well-known, and after the release of their latest instrumental album, they're bringing their Cell-O tour to the State Theatre on Tuesday, September 13.
Smashing Pumpkins/Jane's Addiction - TD Garden
Two of the most iconic alt-rock pioneers are teaming up for a North American tour this fall that simply can't be missed. There's one stop in New England on Sunday, October 16 at the TD Garden in Boston.
Sunny Day Real Estate - House of Blues
After a 12-year hiatus from the road, early emo pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate are hitting the road this fall on a major North American tour. They'll plug in and play at the House of Blues in Boston on Monday, October 3.
