Silly’s Restaurant Officially Opens in Standish, Maine

What a long, winding road for Silly's Restaurant over the past few years.

Back in September of 2019, most people were shocked by the announcement that Silly's Restaurant was saying goodbye, leaving behind three decades worth of memories as the owners had reached a breaking point.

But in that goodbye, Silly's left the door open for a return, and 14 months later, the restaurant did just that.

Silly's Restaurant Returned in Portland, Maine, But Only For a Short Time

But once again, Silly's said goodbye to the sit-down, brick-and-mortar restaurant life in March of 2022 after their lease was up in Portland. Silly's decided to pack it in and try a new venture, a food truck.

For the past two years, that's exactly what Silly's has been. A food truck that you can find here or there, serving up many of the favorites that made the restaurant a three-decade favorite in Portland. But life on the road isn't all it's cracked up to be which is why Silly's found themselves a new permanent home.

Silly's Has Officially Opened in Standish, Maine

After several months of operating out of a food truck in front of their future home, Silly';s Restaurant has officially opened their doors at 131 Ossipee Trail West in Standish, Maine.

Silly's shared their menu for the remainder of the summer and recently got approved for a beer and wine license as well. Currently, Silly's is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4-8p with plans to extend hours as they fill out their staff.
