State Police Cruiser Collides With Turkey

Apparently, contrary to that popular line from 'WKRP in Cincinnati,' turkeys CAN fly! A State Police trooper escaped injury Friday when his cruiser collided with a wild turkey.

Trooper Tucker Bonnavie said he noticed a flock of turkeys in the median of Interstate 95 in Plymouth and didn't think anything of it. Suddenly, one of the birds took flight and hit his windshield.

Luckily the only damage was a large dent in the cruiser's windshield. Trooper Bonnavie wasn't hurt.
