In case you need a reminder, here it is...many people were worried about the band Aerosmith for a few reasons. One, they were worried about singer Steven Tyler and two, they were worried that Aerosmith would be unable to tour.

Back in late May, Steven Tyler entered a rehab program which led to Aerosmith canceling multiple shows for their residency in Las Vegas. Aerosmith announced that following Tyler's foot surgery, he struggled with use problems due to pain.

Since that time, Steven Tyler has been spotted in Massachusetts where he was seen interacting with fans.

Although Aerosmith mentioned in their announcement that they would continue their tour in September, we did not get many updates about Tyler's progress, but seeing him out and about was very reassuring, and luckily good news came our way.

It is really happening, Aerosmith will be performing in New England. According to a recent Facebook post by Steven Tyler, he's gearing up to blow you away in September.

In less than 30 days Steven Tyler will be in Maine (unless he visits sooner).

Wondering when you can catch Aerosmith? Here are the local shows that they are performing:

  • Sunday, September 4th at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, ME.
  • Thursday, September 8th at Fenway Park in Boston, MA

Aerosmith Albums Ranked

Any worst-to-best ranking of Aerosmith must deal with two distinct eras: their sleazy '70s work and the slicker, more successful '80s comeback. But which one was better?
