Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless Dishes About Upcoming Tour, Her Love of Renys, and Death by Rock and Roll

Announced earlier today, three powerhouses of rock are teaming up and heading out on a spring tour; Diamante, The Pretty Reckless, and Shinedown. The tour will be stopping in Portland, Maine on Monday, April 18th at the Cross Insurance Arena. Tickets go on sale this Friday and more details can be found here.

I was lucky enough to be able to chat with Taylor of The Pretty Reckless in between the band rehearsing for the tour.

We talked about what it's like to finally go back on the road after 4 years. In those years, having experienced multiple hits of personal tragedy as well as the global pandemic.

Taylor has also been living in Maine part-time for much of her adult life and prior to that a frequent visitor. We chatted about her Maine favorites and learned that the flannel she wears in the "Make Me Wanna Die" music video is from none other than iconic Maine retailer, Renys, which is where she says she gets all her flannel.

Considering the time of year I had to ask her about her role as Cindy Lou Who in Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas and if she's watched her ex-costar from Gossip Girl, Penn Badgley in Netflix's hit, You.
