The NoPhone Will Change the Way You Use Your Smartphone [PHOTOS]

iPhone 6? Whatever. Introducing the NoPhone. It's looking for funding with a Kickstarter campaign and will deliver what no other smartphone can unless you remove its battery. 

If this gets funded I'll be amazed, but I think the NoPhone Team's message is clear without needing to text it. We are too connected to our phones. I know I'm guilty of it. Just last night my girlfriend and I were out at dinner and both of us couldn't get through the meal without checking our phones.

According to the Kickstarter page:

With a thin, light and completely wireless design, the NoPhone acts as a surrogate to any smart mobile device, enabling you to always have a rectangle of smooth, cold plastic to clutch without forgoing any potential engagement with your direct environment. Never again experience the unsettling feeling of flesh on flesh when closing your hand.

 

They also are planning a selfie model.

As of this writing the NoPhone has received $2878 in funding on their way to their goal of $30,000. I'm rooting for them to make it too just to see this thing go into production.
