There’s A Frightening Tree In New Gloucester Straight Out Of An Alfred Hitchcock Film
If you have a little extra time this weekend to catch up on your amazing old horror flicks, make a point to watch "The Birds" from Alfred Hitchcock. It's a slow moving, but absolutely chilling, horror movie that will change the way you look at certain birds...and trees.
That brings us to this photo shared on Twitter by Cory Froomkin of WCSH-6. Take a look at this tree absolutely covered in turkey vultures. If you've seen The Birds, chances are a sight like that will give you goosebumps. If you haven't, get on that because it's a classic.
Froomkin himself has never seen the Hitchcock masterpiece, to which his co-worker Keith Carson had the perfect response:
If it gets too scary, hide your eyes. Come to think of it, you might want to do that anyway.
