Uh Oh, Old Orchard Beach Might Ban Retail Marijuana Sales

After finally seeing marijuana legalization become a reality, many proponents of the right to blaze are finding out there's more fight left than they anticipated.

According to WCSH-6, Old Orchard Beach is now considering a full ban on retail sales of marijuana. This ban would also include pot related social clubs, as well as growing and testing facilities. There's a town council meeting scheduled for tonight at 6:30pm in OOB, if you want to go and make your voice heard on either side of the issue.

I think it's interesting that so many are still so opposed to the impending prevalence of the little green herb. After all, it is legalized - why fight it so hard when it's been ratified by the government? Maybe a big number of Mainers saw Reefer Madness back in the day and bought into it.
