20 Bands That Helped Shape the Music Legacy at the University of Maine
When people talk about music venues in Maine, two big names usually come up. First is the massive outdoor venue in Bangor, the Maine Savings Pavilion. The other is Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena. Both host a steady stream of concerts and a variety of other major events.

UMaine has also had various performing arts centers that bands have used over the years, making it an attractive stop for touring acts.
