Make sure you don't bring bugs into your house! They are dormant when it's cold, but you set that tree in your warm house and guess who wakes up? Bugs!

Safer Brand says that some trees can come with as many as 25,000 bugs! What the hell?!

Here's the good news. Usually you can shake most of them off your tree by banging it in the parking lot. Or some lots have actual tree shakers JUST for this purpose.

If you do find a couple of bugs...do NOT spray your tree with bug spray. That stuff is flammable and your tree is surrounded by hot lights. Sooo...ya know.
