World Famous Podcaster And Comedian Marc Maron Coming To Portland In February
If you're into podcasts, there's a very good chance you've heard of Marc Maron. The WTF podcast has been one of the most critically acclaimed and downloaded podcasts over the last decade. Maron started it after being fired from his radio gig, and has recorded most of his landmark episodes in a home garage that he calls "The Cat Ranch". Some of his most famous guests include Keith Richards, Robin Williams and former President Barack Obama. But beyond just podcasting, Maron has also been a touring standup comedian for years as well and he plans to bring his latest tour to the State Theater in Portland on Thursday, February 20th.
Maron currently has a stand up special on Netflix titled "Too Real" and also is the star of the hit Netflix original series "GLOW". Maron has spent the last two years putting together a new hour of stand up, which he's ready to unleash on audiences in 2020.
This is an all ages show but there is a warning because several of the themes and topics Maron touches are deemed mature content. This is a reserved seating show, with different tiers of ticket pricing. Tickets will officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 13th at 10am.
