Heather comes from a clearing in the woods called Kingman, Maine. Never heard of it? You’re not alone. She was shy as a kid but grew up to be a mouthy little broad (just ask her husband). She was a gymnast and a cheerleader, but the kind of cheerleader who would purposely not shave her legs out of spite. Since graduating from New England School of Communications in 2006 she has done radio news, light rock, top 40 and even country. Now she has found herself in the middle of Joey and Rob in some kind of sandwich from hell. Heather loves coffee and vodka and sometimes both at the same time. She swears like a sailor and will argue just for the sake of arguing. She likes animals more than people most days and especially loves her cat, Luca and her fish, Fizz. As for music, some of Heather’s faves are AWOLNATION, Rustic Overtones, System of a Down, The Offspring, White Zombie, Death Cab for Cutie, Type O Negative, The Black Keys, Days of the New, Cake and Guster. She also has a soft spot in her heart for Fleetwood Mac and synthesized 80’s stuff. Her favorite shows are Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock (which she quotes frequently). Heather is psyched to be a part of WCYY and hopes the guys don’t realize what they’ve done by letting her in the studio…yikes.
